    The Moments

    Formé à Washington au milieu des années 60 . Larry Mizell & Fonce Mizell avec Freddie Perren les ont signés chez Hog Records . Sylvia Robinson les a ensuite signés chez Stang Records . Après les premiers changements de line-up , ils ont commencé à avoir des succès alors que le trio a évolué plus tard à la fin des années 70 pour devenir Ray , Goodman & Brown .

    Le premier album des Moments ; " Not On The Outside , But On The Inside , Strong ! " est édité en Amérique sur le label Stang Records ST 1000 [ US ] en 1969 . Il est également publié au Brésil sur les labels Stang Records STANG 1000 / Top Tape Records STANG 1000 [ BR ] la même année et au Canada sur le label Trans-World Records TWS 6718 [ CA ] . À noter que la couverture indique "Stang 1000" , mais l'étiquette indique "ST-1001" , ce qui , je suppose , est le bon numéro de matrice . Voilà un excellent album de Northern Soul , de Soul Music et de Rhythm 'n Blues dans lequel , j'ai ajouté quelques singles ( dont la plupart figureront sur le prochain album en 1970 , mais avec des versions plus courtes ou plus longues ) .
